How to use Vintage 16mm Cine-Player (Audio-Enabled)?
Load Your Film Reel
Use the custom reel manager to input your film data. Enter the total length of your 16mm film in feet. The calculator will automatically determine the corresponding number of frames based on standard 16mm film specifications.
Set Playback Parameters
Adjust the motor speed (in frames per second - FPS) to simulate different playback scenarios, such as silent speed (16-18 FPS) or sound speed (24 FPS). You can also toggle the motor status (Run/Stop) to control the audio simulation.
Engage Real-Time Telemetry
Click 'Run Projector' to start the simulation. Watch the real-time telemetry display update, showing the remaining film in both feet and frames as it 'consumes' your virtual reel. The synchronized mechanical audio will start playing.
Monitor & Interact
Observe how the projector's audio effects react dynamically to your motor speed setting and motor status. The sound authenticates the vintage experience, mimicking start-up, running, and loop-end mechanical noises. Stop or adjust speed at any time to hear corresponding audio changes.
