How to use Minimalist Chess Hub & Elo Calculator?
Choose Your Game Mode
Select between PvP (Player vs Player) to play against a friend on the same device, or PvE (Player vs Engine) to challenge the built-in chess AI. The minimalist board with all pieces styled as pawns will load immediately.
Play on the Minimalist Board
Click and drag the dual-tone white pawns (bottom row) or black pawns (top row) to make your moves. Despite the uniform pawn appearance, each piece moves according to standard chess rules, offering a unique visual challenge.
Access the Elo/TPR Calculator
Navigate to the integrated rating calculator tool from the main hub. Here, you can input tournament performance data to calculate your Elo or Tournament Performance Rating (TPR).
Input Your Game Data
In the calculator, enter the required data such as your opponents' ratings and the results of your games (win, loss, or draw). The sophisticated engine is designed for accurate professional rating estimation.
Get Your Calculated Rating
Click 'Calculate' to instantly receive your estimated new Elo or Tournament Performance Rating. Use this result to track your progress over time directly within the Chess Hub.
