How to use Merriam-Webster Interactive Learning Hub?
Access the Hub
Navigate to the Merriam-Webster Interactive Learning Hub. The main interface presents a search bar for dictionary/thesaurus lookups and a prominent 'Calculator Mode' toggle or button.
Switch to Calculator Mode
Click the 'Calculator Mode' button or toggle. The interface will transform, revealing a digital keypad and display screen, while retaining the sleek Merriam-Webster-inspired design and your selected color theme.
Input Your Calculation
Use your mouse or keyboard to enter numbers and operations (+, -, *, /, etc.) directly into the calculator interface. You can also paste numerical data from other sources.
Execute and View Results
Press the '=' key or the 'Calculate' button. Your result will be instantly displayed on the screen. For complex calculations, use parentheses to ensure the correct order of operations.
Utilize Integrated Features
While in Calculator Mode, you can still access word tools. Highlight any number in the display or a word in your notes, use right-click or the context menu to 'Look Up' its definition or synonyms in the integrated dictionary/thesaurus.
