How to use Curta Mechanical Simulator (Enhanced)?
Step 1: Set Your Inputs
Use the sliders or input fields on the 'Mechanical Digit Drums' to set your desired numbers. Each drum represents a digit place (units, tens, hundreds, etc.), and you can physically rotate them digitally to input your values, just like the original Curta.
Step 2: Select Your Operation
Choose between addition, subtraction, multiplication, or division using the clear operation selector buttons. The simulator will adjust the internal mechanical state visually to reflect your chosen operation.
Step 3: Engage the Crank
Click and drag the main crank handle on the interface. As you 'turn' the crank, you will see the intricate internal gears and the digit drums rotate and slide in real-time, performing the calculation mechanically.
Step 4: Read the Result
