How to use Curta Mechanical Counter?
Select Your Operation Mode
Use the dual-mode carriage selector to choose between addition (typically the upper position) and subtraction (the lower position). This mimics the original Curta's ability to switch the crank's function.
Input Your Numbers
Click or drag the numbered dials on the main setting sliders to input your desired digits for each decimal place, just like setting the pinwheels on the physical Curta.
Perform the Calculation
Click and hold the virtual crank handle. Pull it down to execute one full turn. For addition, this increments the counter. For subtraction, it decrements. The result will display in the main result windows.
Clear the Result
To reset the counter to zero, simply rotate the virtual clearing ring located at the top of the calculator. This action resets all result digits, preparing the device for a new calculation.
Chain Calculations
