How to use Curta Mechanical Calculator Simulator?
Set the Input Sliders
Use the sliders on the side of the simulator to input your desired numbers. Each slider corresponds to a digit place, allowing you to set numbers up to the simulator's maximum digit capacity, just like the original Curta.
Select the Operation Mode
Choose between addition/subtraction or multiplication. For addition/subtraction, the main setting lever is typically used. For multiplication, you will use both the sliders and the rotating crank in a specific sequence.
Perform the Calculation
Turn the crank on top of the simulator. The direction and number of turns correspond to the operation. For addition, turn clockwise; for subtraction, counter-clockwise. For multiplication, multiple turns are required based on the multiplier digits.
Read the Result
